A member must be funding their account on a regular basis at the time of application.
New members who use UCU as their primary bank account (whole of pay) may qualify for a greater amount than those members that use UCU as a secondary form of savings.
In each case that a loan is approved, the member will be advised of the contribution required to be saved in their loan provider account. These funds will be frozen and become available once the loan has been fully repaid. For more information on Loan Provider Account click here.
To apply for a loan, complete a loan application form, enclose proof of your income (not older than 3 weeks). If the purpose of your loan is to consolidate accounts, we will require statements of those accounts.

All applications are subject to a Credit Check and our lending policy as laid down by our Board of Management.
Once we receive your application we generally have an answer within 24 hours and always endeavour to contact you as soon as possible.
