Membership of UCU is open to any worker (including their immediate family) that is employed within an industry in New Zealand that is covered by NZCTU affiliation unions.

What you need to do
Simply print and complete the form
You must provide a copy of (a) your passport, or (b) your NZ Drivers Licence and, either a birth certificate or Bank issued statement displaying your current address.
Post or Fax the form along with ID back to our office.
Funding
New members are required to operate both a call account and a loan provider account. The minimum contribution for each account is $2.50 and $5.00 per week respectively. These funds are available for use. Once a member takes out a personal loan the loan provider account funds are frozen for the term of that loan.
If you wish to apply for a Personal Loan, you may submit your Loan Application form at the same time you submit your Application for Membership. This saves you time and allows us to process your application without delay.
NOTE: Proof of account funding must be received before any loan funds are advanced.
